Gnocchi served with a schnitzel and cabbage stew (Bigos)

Ingredients

  • 1 bag ( 30pieces) of Gnocchi
  • 1 large pot of boiling water
  • 1 large (yellow) cooking onion
  • 1 table spoon of oil or butter
  • Store bought schnitzel
  • Store bought Cabbage stew (Bigos)

Preparation

  1. Make ahead – heat a large pan with either butter or oil. Add in sliced onions and sauté on medium heat until golden brown.
  2. Turn the heat off and set the sautéed onions aside.
  3. In a pot reheat the store bought cabbage stew on medium heat and occasionally so the cabbage does not burn.
  4. In a frying pan, reheat the store bought schnitzel.
  5. Boiling of Gnocchi – Once your water starts boiling, throw in 30 Supreme Gnocchi’s. Once the Gnocchi float to the top, continue boiling for another 2-3 minutes. Stir occasionally, strain and serve.
  6. After the boiling process is complete, transfer the gnocchi into the frying pan with the sautéed onions.
  7. Turn the frying pan on medium heat to reheat the onions while mixing the gnocchi together
  8. Serving suggestions – 1 bag (30 pieces) of Supreme Gnocchi serves 4 people with 7-8 gnocchi each.
  9. After the boiling process is complete, transfer the gnocchi into the frying pan with the sautéed onions.
  10. Turn the frying pan on medium heat to reheat the onions while mixing the dumplings together
  11. Serve gnocchi with schnitzel and cabbage stew
