Preparation

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

Product is not pre-cooked and must be boiled first.

BOILED – Most Recommended
Place frozen pierogies in boiling water for 7-8 minutes until they float to the top and are well puffed. DO NOT OVERCOOK. Drain in colander, toss gently in melted butter or margarine. Serve with your choice of favourite toppings like sour cream, sautéed onions, or bacon.

Product must be boiled first before following these other cooking instructions.

PAN FRIED – A Traditional Favourite
Cover bottom of frying pan with cooking oil, margarine, or butter and heat to 190oC (375oF), or medium heat. Place boiled pierogies into frying pan and fry for 4 minutes on one side and then 4 minutes on flip side. Remove and serve with your choice of favourite toppings like sour cream, onions, or bacon.

BAKE – A Light and Crispy Alternative
Preheat oven to 175oC (350oF). Place boiled pierogies on a non-stick baking pan. Spray both sides of pierogies with cooking oil, or brush pierogies with light coating of cooking oil. Bake the first side for 10 minutes and flip side for 5 minutes. Serve with your favourite choice of toppings like sour cream sautéed onions, or bacon.
DEEP FRY
To successfully deep fry pierogies, first preheat cooking oil to 160oC (325oF) or low heat. Place boilied pierogies into pot, cover the pot and fry for 5-6 minutes. Remove and let pierogies cool, as they are very hot and can cause injury. Serve with your choice of your favourite toppings like sour cream, sautéed onion, or bacon.

Product must be cooked to an internal temperature of 74C or greater before serving

BOUILLI – Resultat optimal
Plonger les pierogies congeles dans l’eau bouliiante pendant 7-8 minutes jussqu a ce qu’ils remontent a la surface et soient bien gonfles. Ne pas trop cuire. Egoutter dans une passoire. Remuer document dans du beurre fondu ou de la margarine. Servir avec vos garnitures preferees telles que crème sure, oignons frits ou bacon.

Ce produit etre bouilli au prealable avant de continuer a suivre les instructions.

FRIT A LA POELE –Facon traditionnelle
Dans une poele a frire, chauffer de l’huile a cuisson, margarine ou beurre a 190°C (375°F) ou sur feu mayen. Ajouter les pierogies bouillis et faire frire pendant 4 minutes de chaque cote. Retirer et servir avec vos garnitures preferees telles que crème sure, oigons frits ou bacon.

AU FOUR – Leger et croustillant
Prechauffer le four a 175C (350F). Disposer les pierogies bouillis sur une plaque non-adhesive. Vaporiser les deux cotes des pierogies avec de l’huile a cuisson ou badigeonner d’une legere couche d’huile. Cuire d’un cote pendant 10 minutes, tourner et cuire 5 minutes. Servir avec vos garnitures preferees telles que crème sure, oignonss frits ou bacon.

FRITEUSE
Pour un resultat optimal, Prechauffer l’huile de cuisson a 160C (325F) ou a feu doux. Placer les pierogies bouillis dans la friteuse, couvrir et frire pedant 5-6 minutes. Laisser les pierogies refroidir, car ils seront tres chauds et pourraient causer des blessures. Sevrir avec vos garnitures preferees telles que crème sure, ognons frit ou bacon.

La temperature interne du produit doit atteindre au moins 74C avant que celui-ci soit servi.
